A portion of the rail trail will be closed to repair a damaged section

On Friday, April 1, 2022 at approximately 11:36pm, the Midland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle traffic crash that claimed the life of 40 year old Donald Essenburg of Edenville Township.  The crash occurred on North Lake Sanford Road just south of West Fike Road in Edenville Township.

On Tuesday, March 8th 2022 at approximately 10:41pm, Midland County Sheriff’s Office personnel along with Edenville Township Fire Department personnel responded to an Edenville Twp residence on North Eleven Mile Rd in reference to a structure fire.  Upon arrival, a mobile home was fully engulfed in flames.  After the flames were extinguished, the body of a deceased male was located inside the residence.  The male is believed to be the 72 year old resident.
