The Midland County Courthouse has sustained damage due to the recent flooding within Midland County.
The Courthouse is open as of 5/28/2020. If you have/had a hearing scheduled and have been displaced due to the flood, please contact the court to make arrangements. 989-832-6700
All previously scheduled hearings will be rescheduled for a later date. Please check your mail/email for a re-notice of hearing.
Due this unprecedented time of COVID-19, the 75th District Court will be handling some matter via Zoom technology to conduct hearings.

The District Court is comprised of four divisions:
- Civil Division handles cases that involve money or damage claims, as well as landlord/tenant evictions.
- Criminal Division is responsible for processing paperwork filed by the police departments, state law and local ordinance prosecutors.
- Traffic Division processes citations written by police departments and zoning violations.
- Probation Department is responsible for conducting pre-sentence investigations, alcohol assessments, probation violation hearings and supervision of offenders.
